Our Size Guide

The below size guide shows the standard conversions from European sizes (which our shoes are) to both UK and US sizes.

We have also included approximate length measurements- please note these should only be used as a rough guide as all feet (and shoes!) are different shapes so it's impossible to get exact measurements.

They include a small amount of extra length for the end of the shoe, so will be slightly longer than your actual foot.

How To Measure Your Feet

✅ Use a flexible tape measure

✅ Measure the underside of your foot from the heel to the very tip of your toes

Or

✅ Grab your favourite shoes that fit you well and measure the inside of the shoe from the centre point at the heel down to the very tip of the front of the shoe

If in doubt, size down.

Rachel Simpson shoes tend to come up on the more generous side, and because they're made in high quality leathers with full leather lining- unlike synthetic fabrics- they will also give during wear.

So if you're usually in between sizes we'd always recommend you go for the smaller of the two.

For example, if you usually wear size 5.5, in Rachel Simpson you'd be a size 5 (38).

Even if these feel a tiny bit snug when you first try them on, as long as your toes aren't squeezing in lengthwise, the width will gradually increase as the leather shapes itself to your foot.

A note on International Sizing

We find this is especially true for our international customers.

Our sizing guide shows the official conversions from European sizing (which our shoes are), to both UK and US sizes, however it's important to remember this is purely a guide.

Feedback from our US customers in particular, tells us that Rachel Simpson shoes come up really generously, so do make sure you size down if in doubt.
