All work and no play makes for a very dull time, so it's a good job May has been such a sociable one! With both work and play, this year doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon, and I've found myself really cherishing my weekend time lately. I used to work loads over weekend, but I try not to nowadays and allow myself to switch off a bit and recharge, ready to go again Monday morning!
Here's what's been keeping me busy this month...
Did somebody order some shoes?
One of the biggest challenges of running a product business is stock management- too much and your cash is all tied up on the shelves, too little and your customers can't get what they want. Thanks to you guys, the past few months have surpassed my expectations in terms of orders, which has been amazing but has meant that many of you have had to pre-order your shoes. With everything going on in the world, shipping is taking a lot longer than usual so this month we had to fly a small amount of stock in- expensive but worth it so we didn't miss any of your special events!
The good news is that the main deliveries are arriving towards the end of this month, when we'll have plenty of everything, so if you pre-order now you won't have long to wait!
Feeling hot (but looking cool)!
Unless you've been under a rock or on the other side of the world, you'll know we've been having something of a heatwave! The consistently sunny weather finally prompted me to have a big old sort of my wardrobe, getting rid of pieces I no longer love or wear, putting all the jumpers and cold weather stuff away and even pulling out some holiday bits and bobs for every day wearing- who knew! And of course with the gorgeous weather comes peep-toes, and I'm very happy to be back in my go to faves for the summer- Minnie gold and blue. This year I may have to add the off-white to my collection- another super versatile colour!
Say it with flowers
This month we marked the RHS Chelsea Flower Show with a gorgeous collaboration with The English Soap Company. For the duration of the show every order received a beautiful Kew Gardens Triple Soap gift set- perfect to treat yourself or someone special! Made in England and vegan friendly, I'm in love with their beautifully illustrated boxes- they're almost too nice to use!

So here we are- June! With Ladies' Day around the corner, this month it's time to create some Ascot inspired style at the same time as having to finalise production orders for the Autumn Winter collections- hot, cold, rain, shine- my job is nothing if not varied!
